We are seeking qualified candidates for a Supervisor- Shipping, US DC Distribution - 1st Shift - Monday to Thursday: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 years of supervisory experience in distribution or logistics is required.
• Must possess basic computer skills/knowledge of warehouse management system preferred.
• Must be familiar with logistic methodology regarding traffic/carriers/loads.
• Must have strong skills in handling high volume product movement.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and work in a demanding environment.
• Must possess solid written and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign daily work assignments based on workload and customer orders.
• Conduct daily start up communication meetings with associates.
• Monitor associates' activity during the work shift.
• Ensure production standards are maintained.
• Manage a team of full-time and temporary workers during the work shift.
• Plan labor to meet business demands.
• Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures, including safety policies and procedures.
• Administer coaching and counseling as approved by Distribution Director and HR Manager.
• Other duties approved by the Distribution Management Team.
