About The Position

IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for a Supervisor, Underwriting Support for the Commercial Truck business segment. The ideal candidate will have experience leading, coaching, and developing production teams of five or more. Please note, IAT works on a hybrid schedule, working from the office Monday through Wednesday with the option of working remotely Thursday and Friday. This role will provide day-to-day oversite for Policy Support staff within the Commercial Truck Underwriting Support unit. The position will be in one of our following offices: Naperville, IL Rolling Meadows, IL Raleigh, NC Omaha, NE

Requirements

Bachelors’ degree and 3 years of leadership experience; or equivalent. Equivalent is defined as 7 years of relevant insurance experience.
Knowledge of Underwriting Support processes and procedures.
Experience with rating and policy issuance platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work throughout the organization at different levels.
Effective written and verbal communication skills used for interaction with all levels of associates and/or external sources in a variety of settings.

Performs other duties as assigned.
