Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree: Preferably in science, healthcare, or other related field --or-- Significant experience in a supervisory capacity
• 7 years of experience in related area

Nice To Haves

• Upon hire: Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or similar professional research certification

Responsibilities

• Independently coordinate research and administrative activities in support of assigned research studies
• Collaborate closely with study investigators and supervisors to identify and resolve study-related issues
• Provide backup coverage for other Research Coordinators as needed
• Support departmental financial performance through budgeting, billing, and related activities as directed
• Develop specialized research instruments and assist with the preparation of scientific manuscripts and presentations, as applicable
• Train other Research Coordinators in the proper conduct of research studies and participate in quality control activities as assigned
• Demonstrate a high level of productivity and independence consistent with advanced research coordination responsibilities
• Position may require regular after-hours support, occasional on-call responsibilities, and overnight business travel
