Responsible for day to day supervision of domestic customer service and inbound/outbound operations at a station level. This position involves supervising domestic service and operations activities as it relates to cartage, security, freight movement, and employee issues. The individual will oversee daily activities of cartage drivers and ground handlers, research and resolve customer problems and complaints on domestic and cartage issues, and assist in identifying and improving service and operations related issues in a station, including on-time delivery, accurate and timely data entry, and efficient warehouse operations. Additional responsibilities include performing accounting tasks such as trade payables and petty cash, assisting in auditing and researching service performance issues, maintaining the security of freight in accordance with security procedures, ensuring a safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and procedures, and managing staff performance to ensure productivity and achievement of organizational objectives.
