The Role: Our Billerica, MA and Chaska, MN sites are seeking a Trade Compliance Supervisor for US Import Compliance and Duty Management to join our team. This role is responsible for a broad range of import compliance activities and the supervision of direct reports. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Managing US Imports, classification, valuation and collaboration with US customs brokers and freight forwarders Overseeing daily compliance processes, incl. duty drawback programs and Free Trade Agreement processes Supporting continuous improvement of trade compliance processes to ensure US Import Compliance, increase efficiency and support duty saving initiatives and other enhancement opportunities The successful candidate will partner closely with internal stakeholders and external parties, including government agencies and leadership—to ensure our import operations are both compliant and efficient.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive trade compliance experience within a global manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commodity classification and related regulatory requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge of US Import Regulations and other applicable directives is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, in particular Excel and Outlook applications.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and compliance integrity.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and meet critical deadlines in a fastpaced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with SAP and SAP GTS or other global trade compliance and screening software platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in trade compliance or equivalent work experience.
  • Supervisory experience
  • Customs Broker License preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the accurate customs classification of all incoming products and shipments, ensuring full compliance with U.S. import regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Entegris’ customs broker, overseeing correct classification and compliant processing of all U.S. imports.
  • Act as the central resource for internal stakeholders on importrelated questions, shipment issues, and dutyrelated inquiries.
  • Supervise and execute daily import operations, ensuring timely, efficient, and auditready processing.
  • Address and resolve import regulatory matters, including CF28 responses, TSCA requirements, TIBs, and ACHrelated issues.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all Importer Security Filings (ISFs).
  • Maintain Entegris’ product classification dictionary and ensure alignment with the U.S. customs broker.
  • Oversee and update master data in SAP related to HTS classifications and Country of Origin, collaborating closely with Buyers and Product Managers.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Chemists, and Engineers to validate and maintain correct HTS classifications.
  • Train and mentor team members on rotational import compliance responsibilities to ensure strong backup coverage.
  • Manage licensed imports (e.g., FIFRA, FDA, ADD/CVD) within SAP/GTS when applicable.
  • Drive process improvements within U.S. import operations and implement updates resulting from regulatory or administrative changes.
  • Regularly maintain and update import compliancerelated policies and procedures, including documentation in ETQ.
  • Lead monthly ACH account reporting and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance, feasibility assessments, and subjectmatter expertise for importrelated requests from internal and external partners.
  • Prepare importrelated analyses and reporting to support compliance, operations, and leadership needs.
  • Support Entegris Canada import management and related tasks with Canada customs.
  • Oversee and perform verification of materials required to create accurate Certificates of Origin, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Oversee and review and confirm product eligibility for Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and prepare corresponding certificates with precision and compliance integrity.
  • Support duty drawback programs and assist in identifying, evaluating, and supporting new duty drawback opportunities and other dutysaving initiatives to improve cost efficiency.
  • Perform additional trade compliance-related duties as required.
