About The Position

The Team Leader for the Plate / Etch Department at ASC Sunstone Circuits is responsible for overseeing the wet process tasks in PCB manufacturing. This role requires extensive experience in the field and involves managing resources, ensuring safety compliance, and driving continuous improvement within the department. The ideal candidate will support the team in achieving production goals while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of three years of related experience in PCB manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the department's resources to budget, including inventory control and price changes.
• Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all regulatory standards (i.e., OSHA, BOLI, etc.).
• Interact with all groups outside the department to overcome daily production issues.
• Control quality production and maintain scrap goals through process development and trained staff.
• Control backlog, throughput, and workflow to meet internal/external customer demands.
• Drive continuous improvement through emerging technologies (equipment, process improvement, etc.).
• Utilize systems and tools necessary to support, display, and report business metrics.
• Directly supervise employees on three shifts, carrying out supervisory responsibilities according to the organization's policies and applicable laws.
