The role involves driving selection, operation, and implementation of platforms within Corning's corporate communications organization, managing digital content management and publication efforts, and ensuring timely publication of content on owned external and internal platforms.

  • Contribute to roadmap for Corning's owned platforms in collaboration with IT and Communications colleagues.
  • Identify and document business needs, functional gaps, and operational requirements necessary to support owned platforms.
  • Educate individuals and teams on usage of platforms and tools, providing support when necessary.
  • Establish procedures for incoming requests for content publishing and updates, leveraging and configuring project management and/or ticketing tools.
  • Define and implement workflow processes for content publishing and other platform-related efforts.
  • Ensure timely publication of content on public and internal platforms in collaboration with content management team members.
  • Manage communications between team members, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Build and maintain effective internal relationships, ensuring that needs are heard, understood, and addressed in a timely way.
  • Manage at least one direct report focused on day-to-day content management and publishing activities.
  • 3-6 plus years of working with digital platforms, and driving their adoption and operations.
  • Strong program management, organizational and communication skills.
  • A passion for solving problems and a demonstrated ability to think creatively about solutions.
  • Excellent business and report-writing skills.
  • Strong familiarity and comfort with technology in general, a desire to remain informed of current trends and improvements, and the ability to communicate highly technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with M365, project management and workflow management tools.
  • At least 5 years' experience.
