About The Position

Manages the daily work activities of systems engineers as well as long-term strategic planning to ensure system capacity meets current and future requirements; development and implementation of methodologies for system analysis, installation and support.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 8 years experience installing/supporting information systems in healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required.
  • General knowledge of networks and TCP IP protocol.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced knowledge of job-related systems such as formal training and certificates in a variety of electronic security technologies such as Genetec, RS2, AMAG, CCure, TrakaWeb, TRACcess is desirable.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Autodesk Design Review preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises daily operations of project management, lockshop, break/fix, and contracted teammates.
  • Provides coaching and performance review of supervised teammates.
  • Collaborates with department leadership to evaluate and recommend new security technologies.
  • Works with departmental leadership to develop and maintain security technology standards.
  • Assists departmental leadership to evaluate and review vendor performance, installation quality, and overall capabilities.
  • Provide leadership to teammates within department on best practices as they relate to project management, budgeting, scope definition, and project execution.
  • Reviews development of security-specific scopes of work to ensure compliance with departmental standards, industry leading practice and applicable life safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversees development of security-specific capital budgets, often over $1 million dollars, for submission and inclusion in total capital project budget.
  • Oversees the evaluation and development of high-level rough order of magnitude security- specific budgets for use when evaluating potential future facilities and CON submissions.
  • Travels to project sites using personal vehicle for site progress walkthroughs.
  • Provides evenings and weekend coverage as a part of a rotating on call schedule.
