About The Position

Aspirus Merrill Hospital in Merrill, WI is seeking a SUPERVISOR - SUPPORT SERVICES to join our team! The Supervisor of Support Services provides supervision and direction to all EVS and FS staff to establish and maintain strong, functioning departments. Assists in the overall direction and supervision of the departments to ensure a clean and bacteriologically safe environment for patients, visitors and staff, and ensures the preparation and service of high quality, cost-efficient meals to patients, visitors and staff.

Requirements

• Knowledge of housekeeping and food service standards, practices, government regulations and codes.
• Completion of an associate degree in hospitality services, hotel and restaurant management, or related field, or three or more years of related work experience.
• One to two years of related leadership in housekeeping services and institutional food services.
• Certification from an approved food handler training course such as Serve Safe or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Prior leadership in a team-related capacity.
• Possesses problem-solving skills.
• Possesses good organizational skills.
• Possesses interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and other departments.
