About The Position

Sentara is hiring for a Supervisor, Supply Chain! This is a fully onsite position. Requires travel to any of the 3 Sentara locations listed here. Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center 2300 Opitz Blvd, Woodbridge, VA 22191 Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital 500 Martha Jefferson Dr, Charlottesville, VA 22911 Sentara RMH Medical Center 2010 Health Campus Dr, Harrisonburg, VA 22801 Overview Reports to the Supply Chain Manager of the applicable hospital and oversees daily operational activities of supply chain associates in areas of inventory management and receiving. The supervisor will represent Supply Chain with the respective hospital leadership in conjunction and in the absence of the Supply Chain Manager. Trains, coaches, mentors and supervises all Supply Chain Associate I & II. Creates and maintains a work schedule for Supply Chain Associates that ensures hospital needs are meet as it related to the distribution of products managed under Supply Chain. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality services that meets or exceeds customer expectation. Assist in the training and development of a highly motivated team that work efficiently and effectively in providing services to hospital departments and operating centers. Acts as department lead when necessary. Achieve system, hospital and departmental goals and objectives. Supports and communicates Sentara mission, values, and goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (Required)
• Required to have five years of Supply Chain Management experience
• Required to have experience with Par Excellence
• Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred
• Experience with system integrations and their understanding highly preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
• Preferred to have three years of supervisory experience
