About The Position

A Brief Overview Manage the Customer Service Department, which includes all window activities, all incoming phone calls; pick lists and other contact with Distribution services. Maintains current records of # of par lines filled, stock outs, k3's, equipment log that are essential to the on-going operations of Customer Service. What You Will Do Oversee daily operations in suppler chain, to ensure all daily needs are appropriately met. Directly oversees staff members, and is responsible for ensuring work output is satisfactory and staff and client concerns are resolved. Collaborates with Manager for all hiring and related personnel decisions, completing routine performance review evaluations, training, scheduling, team development and the like. Develops and Maintains, along with Manager, departmental performance standards. In partnership with departmental leadership, helps to ensure all scheduled and unscheduled projects are completed satisfactory in accordance with hospital and departmental policy and procedures. Initiates and maintains positive relationships with management, clients and co-workers and employees. Additional Responsibilities The position must have the ability to act quickly to resolve issues and be aware of the resources to bring about acceptable solutions for customers. Positive Relationship with patient/customer. Positive relationship with co-workers. Committed to mission of hospital. Responsible for self-development. Demonstrates progressive leadership and effective management. Develops staff and builds a strong team. Allocates resources effectively. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • High School Equivalent / GED (Required)
  • 3+ years experience in Materials Services in a high volume healthcare setting (Required)
  • 3+ years progressive experience with centralized warehousing and distribution and Inventory Control in a high volume healthcare setting (Required)
  • Supervisory skills (Required proficiency)
  • Knowledge and experience with automated Material Management Systems and a complete understanding of Material Management practices. (Required proficiency)
  • Complete understanding of Windows Office (Word/Excel). (Required proficiency)
  • Control in a high volume healthcare setting. (Required proficiency)
  • Knowledge in all facets of the supply chain model (Required proficiency)
  • A complete understanding of basic Customer Service operations to include scheduling, workflow and knowledge of the Material Information System. (Required proficiency)
  • Complete understanding of the supply chain to include Purchasing, Receiving, Warehousing and Distribution to the end user. (Required proficiency)
