About The Position

Stockyard Supervisor (Precast) Position Summary: Responsible for the organized handling, stacking, storing, and dispatching of precast elements, ensuring safe operations, zero damage, efficient space utilization, and accurate tracking of all materials in the yard.

Responsibilities

• Yard Management & Organization Plan and maintain systematic stacking of precast elements (walls, slabs, beams, HCs, stairs).
• Ensure tagging, labeling, and element traceability according to project sequences.
• Arrange yard space based on daily inflow (from production) and outflow (to site) .
• Keep the stockyard clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Handling & Storage Supervise crane and forklift operations during lifting and shifting.
• Ensure elements are stored with correct supports, spacers, and distances to avoid bowing or damage.
• Prevent damage through safe stacking, weather protection, and correct lifting points.
• Dispatch & Logistics Prepare daily load-out plans as per site sequence and erection priorities.
• Coordinate with Transport, Planning, Site Engineers , and logistics teams.
• Check delivery notes, element lists , and confirm quantities before dispatch.
• Monitor truck loading for correct positioning, securing, and weight distribution.
• Inventory Control Maintain accurate yard inventory , including incoming and outgoing records.
• Update ERP/Excel logs for element status, location, damaged items, and pending dispatch .
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile differences with Planning/QA teams.
• Quality & Safety Inspect all incoming elements for damage, cracks, chips , and coordinate with QA/QC for approvals.
• Implement HSE protocols for crane operations, vehicle movement, and lifting activities.
• Conduct safety toolbox talks and ensure PPE compliance.
• Coordination & Reporting Work closely with Production, QA/QC, Engineering, and Site teams for smooth yard operations.
• Prepare daily yard reports , loading logs, and stock movement summaries.
• Report damages, near misses, and safety incidents promptly.
• Manpower Management Supervise riggers, operators, helpers, and signalmen.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure disciplined yard operations.
