Requirements

• High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate.
• 3 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or Surgical Technician in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) Certification from IAHCSMM OR Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician (CSPDT) Certification from CBSPD.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree or some college business courses.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervising the activities and functions associated with the decontamination and sterilization of instruments for various departments in the hospital.
