About The Position

The Sterile Processing supervisor will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Sterile Processing department ensuring a clean, orderly and safe environment to meet the sterilization needs of the hospital. The individual will be responsible for supervising human resources in a leadership style conducive to maximum productivity and accuracy. The responsibility may include, but not be limited to: training, counseling and evaluating personnel.

Requirements

• Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training
• Two years operating room experience
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), Central Supply Processing Department Tech (CDPDT) or Certified Surgical Technician (CST) required.
• Possesses the ability to plan and direct unit activities of the department to accommodate the instrument and supply needs of the hospital.
