About The Position

Supervise the operation of slot machines and performance of slot floor staff during assigned shift in compliance with Slot Department Policy & Procedures, ensuring 4-Star/4-Diamond guest service is provided to Slot players within assigned area.

Requirements

Must possess the ability to act in a leadership capacity within a fast paced and goal oriented environment.
Requires tact and diplomacy in dealing with the public and staff and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information.
Requires knowledge of various types of Slot Machines, Video Poker, Keno and Class II Bingo and Video Lottery Terminals.
Must be competent with various PC based software programs and possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics.
High School Diploma or GED required.
One (1) year of progressive supervisory experience in slot operations is essential to this position.
Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.
Position requires strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
Must have the ability to assist guests and team members verbally in English, write reports and correspondence, as well as interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Must have the ability to resolve guest and/or team member disputes according to departmental procedure, using good judgment to decide the correct course of action, requesting assistance from the shift manager when needed.
May require light troubleshooting of machines' bill acceptors and cash-out printers.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand and walk during an 8-hour shift.
Team member frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and use hands to manipulate and feel.
To transact with guests the team member must have the ability to hear and speak and see up close and across the assigned area.
The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assist in assigning slot floor staff to ensure staff levels appropriate to business need.
Ensure assigned slot floor staff responds to guest service requests, machine service lights, radio service calls or management service instruction.
Promote 4 Star /4 Diamond guest service, professionalism and team member morale. Maintain leadership presence on the casino floor for support and positive interaction with all team members and guests.
Keep Slot Shift Manager informed of all pertinent business information, staff issues/concerns and any irregularities in play. Continually observe players and machines for honest play.
Ensures compliance with Title 31 requirements and pertinent gaming laws.
Maintain communication and cooperation with other shifts and departments.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Requires strong leadership and motivational skills. Will interact with various levels of staff, management, government officials, and the public.
Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training team members; maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
