Job Summary: Supervise security personnel and ensure all Monterey Bay Aquarium properties, employees, contractors, and visitors are conducting their activities in a safe and secure environment; Provide support with oversight of the daily Security Department 24-hour operations and coordinate staff resources across the Aquarium and maximize the number of staff-guest interactions and the high level of staff performance; Coach, motivate, and evaluate Security Department personnel; Under the direction of the Manager of Security, ensure security checks of Aquarium properties are made, emergencies are handled professionally, records on lost and found items are maintained, and assists in or administers various projects as assigned; Assist in other Guest Experience areas as needed, and handle guest service-recovery in a professional and efficient manner; Perform other duties as required.
