About The Position

Initiate, conduct and resolve incident investigations using reports and information received; Liaison with local law enforcement agencies on incident investigations. Assist with the development of Security strategy and long term goals, by identifying problems and providing solutions for improvement. Contributes to the safety and welfare of patients, visitors and staff by enforcing policies. Directs security officers and guest services staff during routine and urgent calls; will perform officer duties as needed.

Requirements

• 2 year college degree preferred
• Five (5) years experience in security, preferably in healthcare, military or law enforcement
• Two (2) years experience as a supervisor or lead worker preferred
• Knowledge of patrol, investigation, crime prevention techniques, video surveillance, and Microsoft office systems
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a State of Florida Class 'D' Security Officer license or have Police Standards Certification

Nice To Haves

• Hospital Incident Command Certification preferred
