About The Position

The 2nd shift Supervisor position at WellSpan Health System involves supervising, monitoring, and providing protection and security for the organization's buildings and premises, as well as for employees, patients, and visitors. The role requires working from 3 PM to 11 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring secure and safe conditions, responding to emergencies, conducting investigations, and collaborating with various agencies related to safety and security.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, schedules, and monitors security activities in assigned areas.
• Inspects work performance and recommends improvements in work methods.
• Responds to emergency situations such as accidents, injuries, and crimes in progress.
• Provides assistance and summons proper authorities to maintain order and safety.
• Conducts investigations and prepares incident reports.
• Collaborates with local, state, and national agencies regarding security investigations.
• Conducts routine inspections of lots for compliance with parking regulations.
• Prepares work schedules, assigns personnel, and evaluates work performance.
• Maintains established policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Inspects buildings and grounds for fire, theft, and safety regulation infractions.
