This is a Second Shift position with shift hours from 3:00 pm to 12:00 am, Monday through Friday. The role involves supervising and coordinating various departments to ensure the efficient use of time, materials, and manpower in a manufacturing environment. The supervisor will oversee all areas to maintain high levels of quality and efficiency while applying lean manufacturing principles to optimize glass output, windows per hour, and truck load rates. The position requires developing, recommending, and implementing measures to improve output, equipment performance, and product quality. Additionally, the supervisor will support the planning, coordination, and organization of area functions, ensuring production meets customer demands in terms of quantity, quality, and cost. The role also includes resolving root cause issues, overseeing training for new associates, maintaining a safe workforce, and fostering teamwork across departments.
