About The Position

The Sanitation Supervisor's responsibility is to monitor cleanness and health condition of all production employees and to train the new employees in GMPs, SSOP and Food Safety and to provide direct supervision to the cleaning team and Sanitation Team Member.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required.
  • 2 years of supervision experience in related field.
  • Completion of A.I.B. Food Sanitation Course (preferred)
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English. Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs.
  • Must show good people skills and able to multi-task and work under pressure and good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Train the new employees in GMPs, SSOP and Food Safety.
  • Train new and current employees on how to use sanitation equipment, chemicals and other materials, as well as applicable safety procedures.
  • Interview, hire, train, and evaluate Sanitation Team Members; resolves operational or personnel problems referred by subordinates.
  • Provides support to our other sites to discuss and collaborate with to ensure company direction and policies are implemented and executed in a uniform manner across the Company.
  • Monitor cleanness of all machines and equipment before production and conduct pre and post operational test / Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) test for designated area or machines and equipment.
  • Monitor the concentration of sanitizer and chemicals used for food contact surfaces and ensure secure storage of the entire chemical designated locked area.
  • Monitor all the Production Employees before they enter Production Areas to ensure compliance to USDA, FDA, FSSC, and other requirements regarding facility sanitation.
  • Ensure no employees wear jewelry and watches, or eat or drink in production areas and warehouse areas. Ensure all employees wear clean smocks, proper hair restraints, clean gloves, and anti-slip shoes.
  • Coordinate with the house-keeping personal to monitor cleanness of coolers, and freezers.
  • Record all the observations in the Daily Pre-operational Log and Daily Sanitation Log.
  • Report any accident and problems in the Sanitation area and Production area to Production Supervisor and ASR, and complete reports of the accidents and other issues.
  • Coordinate with the house-keeping personal to make sure hot water, soap, sanitizers, and towels are available at all times.
  • Coordinate with the house-keeping personal to monitor cleanness of break rooms office area, restrooms, warehouse, and production area.
  • Perform other duties as required.
