Requirements

A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing or diploma from an accredited school of nursing program
Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
Department specific requirements such as ACLS, TNCC, PALs, etc
Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in clinical specialty

Responsibilities

The RN Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who is accountable for coordination of all care for a specific patient population on an assigned department., in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and the policies and procedures of Hillcrest Medical Center.
The RN Clinical Supervisor Lead also has managerial responsibilities including, but not limited to, staffing, scheduling, employment development, budget, and performance improvement activities.
The RN Clinical Supervisor will be expected to supplement staffing as needed.
