About The Position

The position involves providing supervision and evaluation of clinical staff, including Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Medical Assistants (MA), and Clinical Care Assistants (CCA). The role also includes participation in the evaluation of clerical staff. The individual will be responsible for coordinating daily clinic activities, ensuring adequate coverage and appropriate staffing. Additionally, the position requires providing clinical nursing assessment, support, counseling, and direct patient care in an ambulatory setting. Collaboration with other health care providers and ancillary services is essential. The individual will participate with management in the development and initiation of clinic-specific policies, protocols, and critical pathways. Furthermore, the role includes assisting with budget development and monitoring fiscal compliance. The supervisor will maintain mandatory regulatory institutional policy and procedures under the direction of the Manager/Medical Director.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing as a Registered Nurse.
  • Three years of ambulatory care or hospital RN experience.
  • Demonstrated abilities in leading and directing the work of others.
  • Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support certification or obtained at first opportunity with employment.

  • Prior supervisory experience or formal supervisory training preferred.
  • Ability to display initiative and multitask effectively.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work as a team member.
