The position involves providing supervision and evaluation of clinical staff, including Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Medical Assistants (MA), and Clinical Care Assistants (CCA). The role also includes participation in the evaluation of clerical staff. The individual will be responsible for coordinating daily clinic activities, ensuring adequate coverage and appropriate staffing, and providing clinical nursing assessment, support, counseling, and direct patient care in an ambulatory setting. Collaboration with other health care providers and ancillary services is essential. Additionally, the position requires participation with management in the development and initiation of clinic-specific policies, protocols, and critical pathways, as well as assisting with budget development and monitoring fiscal compliance. The supervisor will maintain mandatory regulatory institutional policies and procedures under the direction of the Manager/Medical Director.
