About The Position

Team Coordinator, Revenue Control supervises the Revenue Control Unit to ensure complete, compliant, and timely charge description master updates for the health system. Leads and supervises Revenue Control projects related to integration into new hospitals, new service lines, or changes in workflow that impact multiple departments. Supervises development and ongoing training of staff members on charge capture policies and procedures and revenue reconciliation. Ensures quality and customer service. Reviews and reconciles monthly units of service and statistics and is responsible for general ledger journal entries related to statistics and units of service system wide. Provides reimbursement and charge analysis data to hospital finance departments. Oversees the Revenue Specialists as well as the Accounting Technicians.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Level Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • CCS or CPC certification.
  • Thorough knowledge of charging principles and procedures.
  • Experience with CPT/HCPCS.
  • EPIC experience required.
  • Five years of related experience in Revenue Control and Supervisory roles.
