About The Position

The Retail Sales & Operations Supervisor will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the daily front-end and back-end operations of our brick-and-mortar retail store, kiosk(s), and e-commerce sites (with a primary focus on e-commerce). This detail-oriented candidate will also assist with TD Ballpark inventory management, customer service, retail sales and promotions, and game-day staffing.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment – sports and entertainment preferred.
  • 2-3+ years in a supervisory retail role.
  • Experience with Teamwork Commerce, or similar inventory management and POS systems.
  • Experience with Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform.
  • Highly motivated and adaptable
  • Strong project management, verbal, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in photography or use of Canva and/or Adobe Cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the ultimate fan experience and service are consistently delivered and all customer issues are dealt with in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Oversee our two e-commerce platforms, via Shopify and MiLB Auctions.
  • Lead the Jays Shop keyholders and associates with day-to-day operations, including opening/closing, processing sales, cash reconciliation, and reporting, including non-game days and game days.
  • Execute full physical inventory counts at a minimum of 2 times per year to maintain accurate data in the inventory management system.
  • Assist with product ordering and receiving, inventory processing, and stocking.
  • Collaborate with the manager to create and execute cresting of Jerseys for retail and internal requests.
  • Continued collaboration with the Toronto Merchandise department and all departments located in Florida – TD Ballpark and Player Development Complex.
  • Achieve online revenue goals by maintaining accurate product listings, optimizing website content, and safeguarding inventory integrity with monthly audit checks.
  • Collaborate with the graphic/social media coordinator to market and promote online and in-store sales.
  • Identify opportunities to implement and improve upon current standards and practices.
  • Assist with additional TD Ballpark business and facility operations as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
