The Supervisor of Repack will lead the team of Associates to meet designated deliverables, work within specified processes, including OSHA regulations, as well as execute key team, department and enterprise goals and responsibilities. This role requires a high percentage of interaction with volunteers who may or may not be experienced reading directions on packing food and may require additional support. The Repack department is responsible for managing the volunteer activity with the Events Department. Guide volunteers in the packing and sorting of all donated food under the guidance and supervision of the repack team. Ensure safety, process and desired outcome is clearly communicated with outlined expectations. The Supervisor will work in an open warehouse environment and in a cooler/freezer to help move perishable and non-perishable food products through Philabundance’s system. This position will be a mix of leadership and general labor within the warehouse. The focus will be to mentor, train and manage the overall performance of the team for a desired output of activity. This will be aligned and coordinated with the Food Sourcing and Warehouse teams.
