Overview The Supervisor, Quality Engineering provides guidance on product development and training on quality requirements. This involves working with other departments and reviewing the product manufacturing process to improve product quality.

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years of applicable experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

Responsibilities

  • Lead team of quality staff (technicians and inspectors) aligned to product lines within business units to support all quality issues for that line
  • Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc. while creating and maintaining company-wide product quality standards based on customer requirements
  • Identify manufacturing-related quality issues, implement quality improvement projects and participate in quality activities while working with other departments to improve product quality and reduce cost
  • Assist with development and implementation of quality audits
  • Provide quality engineering insight and guidance on product development, product improvement and process improvement projects
  • Monitor, control, and improve supplier quality performance related to assigned business unit
  • Responsible for reporting key process indicators (metrics) and developing corrective actions as needed
  • Work collaboratively with manufacturing and design engineering teams
  • Collects feedback from process stakeholders to bring continuous improvement.
