About the position
The Supervisor - Production at ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. is responsible for leading a team in a manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in production processes. This role involves training and coaching personnel, performing quality inspections, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The supervisor will also handle administrative tasks such as attendance records and performance feedback.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example with a positive outlook and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Train, coach, and enforce company safety policies among personnel.
- Train team members to operate, adjust, repair, and maintain machinery.
- Perform periodic quality inspections to ensure products meet standards.
- Complete required checklists and paperwork for each shift.
- Perform operator duties as required.
- Provide feedback to the Plant Manager or Operations Manager on departmental performance.
- Maintain attendance records for payroll reconciliation.
- Set print and gauge printers for production processes.
- Ensure a clean work environment and equipment readiness for incoming shifts.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a team lead or supervisor.
