About The Position

The position involves direct supervision of teammates in the Production Department, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws. The supervisor is responsible for training teammates, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining teammates, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor Degree or 3-5 years related experience or a combination of at least one of these: Team Leader, MPS Office, or relevant experience
• Intermediate ERP Software skills
• A high level of business acumen and comfort working in a cross-functional environment
• Excellent communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills with ability to influence
• Process oriented, proactive and customer-focused
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills required
• Understanding of MPS principles and practices
• Ability to problem solve to the root cause and implement countermeasures

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing roles and assignments in area
• Support and manage teammate safety
• Lead and manage company policies and regulations in the department
• Lead the MPS development and Business Case improvement in the area
• Lead, direct, and coach projects and improvement themes
• Support team leaders and restore production as required
• Lead the motivation, morale, and growth development of team leaders and teammates
• Manage time and attendance records
• Coordinate activities with other department supervisors to maintain alignment
• Evaluate and coordinate training for teammates
• Coach and develop team leaders
• Develop, support, and manage to standards
• Confer with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations
• Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding production schedules
• Facilitate problem solving and MPS processes to improve production
