About The Position

Lead, provide direction, and supervise a team of production personnel in order to meet or exceed safety, quality, customer experience and cost control objectives. Actively support, provide feedback, and evaluate manufacturing personnel to ensure company policies, procedures, and best practices are adhered to. Schedule necessary manpower to meet schedule demands and perform in a hands-on production job function as required.

Requirements

• High School/GED required
• 1-2 Years of experience leading a team required
• 1-2 Years of direct experience in hands-on manufacturing required

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure safety compliance in the assigned area and in accordance with company requirements and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance programs including physically checking production and assisting with machine set-ups.
• Consistently lead teams to meet production and/or shipping goals to meet or exceed customer demand.
• Monitor inventory levels necessary to complete production schedules and report discrepancies and additional requirements as necessary.
• Direct, assist and evaluate associates in both daily and long term requirements and goals.
• Operate production equipment as necessary due to demand and or scheduling needs.
• Prioritize issues, analyze situations and implement effective corrective actions.
• Provide work flow management, planning, analysis, and training necessary to operate department in a clean, safe and productive manner.
• Review and approve employee time and schedules, including overtime management.
• Maintain positive employee and management relations and create a work environment that is both positive and supportive.
• Interface with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
