About The Position

The Supervisor Production is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. This position requires an essential understanding and control of the production process, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing.

Requirements

High school diploma; education beyond high school including special training, vocational school and/or college courses is preferred.
Basic computer skills helpful.
Strong communication skills.
This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
1-5 trips per year.

Responsibilities

Maintain high production, quality, and yields.
Ensure the safest working environment possible, promoting safety daily and through monthly safety meetings.
Understand and control the production process, ensuring all machinery performs to the highest standard.
Maintain accurate records of production, reworked or returned products, and shipments.
Ensure every position is filled before start-up of the production line and oversee Team Member morning exercises and job rotation for ergonomics.
Ensure all workstations have passed USDA Inspection.
Ensure accurate shipments, rotation of inventory, and proper coding of products.
Communicate company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members, provide encouragement, and perform human relations functions such as training, retaining, and counseling on personal and professional problems.
Work with other supervisors to solve problems and oversee various processing operations.
Provide continuous education on the importance of quality and perform other responsibilities as needed.
