About The Position

The Production Supervisor at Voyant Beauty oversees daily operations in a manufacturing unit, ensuring that efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role involves managing production schedules, supervising team members, and implementing process improvements while ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Requirements

• High School Diploma (Preferred)
• 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment (Required)
• 1-3 years prior leadership in a manufacturing environment (Preferred)
• 1-3 years FDA experience (Preferred)
• Quality Control (Medium proficiency)
• Process Improvement (Medium proficiency)
• Team Leadership (Medium proficiency)
• Safety Management (Medium proficiency)
• Performance Monitoring (Medium proficiency)
• Troubleshooting (Medium proficiency)
• Communication (Medium proficiency)
• Time Management (Medium proficiency)
• Ability to read, audit and understand batch records (Medium proficiency)

Responsibilities

• Supervise production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Ensure the health and safety of employees.
• Ensure team members are following batch record specifications.
• Maintain production schedules to meet customer demand.
• Train and mentor production staff and handle employee issues/concerns as they arise.
• Implement process improvements for efficiency and safety.
• Coordinate with maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain employee timesheets, approve vacation, and schedule OT when necessary.
• Responsible for placing staff in the right positions based on abilities and skills.
• Reconciling work orders for financial review.
