About The Position

The Supervisor of Pricing Configuration manages a team to create and maintain contracts configuration, pricing and division of financial responsibility, as needed. This position manages overall project workload to completion assuring accuracy for our customers (Claims, Providers, Members and other internal departments). The Supervisor of Pricing Configuration is responsible for representing the team and department in cross functional meetings related to any system changes/modifications and works closely with Product Development and Sales to ensure accurate representation of benefit designs. This position will also oversee vendor relationships and performance and will assist the department manager with daily configuration workflow. Answers pricing configuration inquiries and addresses issues identified by claims department, network management, customer contact department and other internal customers. Attends meetings related to new product or regulatory changes; implements changes to related processes, documents, such as contract compensation, and appropriate databases, ensures proper follow-up and resolution for all updates/product changes. Answers questions and assists configuration analysts in relation to contract development. Supervises, directs, and evaluates the activities of staff; Serves as a resource for staff and continuously cross-trains staff to maximize knowledge, capabilities, and level of expertise. Ensures compliance with regulatory changes to processes/documentation. Oversees SOX compliance for all controls, and works closely with compliance as needed. Supervises updates of Medicare fee schedules to assure the regulatory aspect of the updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum two to three years experience in an automated medical claims environment.
  • Experience in managed care/multiple product environment desired.
  • Minimum one to two years experience in systems logic and testing desired.
