About The Position

To supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the technicians and field work in order to efficiently and correctly finish assigned field work while sustaining a safe and healthful working environment that meets environmental, health, and safety regulatory and Company requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five (5) years of direct job-related experience required.
  • Five (5) years of experience in the predictive maintenance field, which includes at least three (3) years in the maintenance department of a Petrochemical plant or refinery.
  • Ability to use corporate workflow systems and follow established procedures
  • Familiarity with maintenance, safety, and online training modules
  • Working knowledge of CERIDIAN (manager functions)
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

Responsibilities

  • Staff Management: Maintain knowledge of best practices and provide continuous education opportunities. Develop each individual’s talents to the fullest, creating an environment that supports collaboration, cross-functional teamwork and information sharing. Communicate, lead, and motivate high performance expectations, individual initiative, and accountability.
  • Compliance: Ensure Full compliance with company policies and procedures is being met by employees.
  • Safety Audits: Conduct random safety audits to ensure all applicable safety procedures are being followed and PPE is being correctly utilized.
  • Technicians Stewardship Assignment: Develop assigned areas of stewardship for each technician to create a sense of ownership, and promote good working relationships with unit personnel.
  • Procedure Improvement: Assist department engineers with revisions to departmental SOPs. Providing new ideas to promote higher efficiency while keeping costs down.
  • Manage and Lead: Develop assigned areas of stewardship for each technician to create a sense of ownership and promote a good working relationship with unit personnel. Maintain knowledge of best practices and provide continuing education opportunities to personnel. Control Unit Instrument Maintenance overtime to within the specified limit.
