About The Position
The Supervisor Planning position at Pemco World Air Services Inc. is a full-time role located in Tampa, FL. This position is critical in providing planning, administrative, budgetary, and direct supervisory control and direction to the planning areas within the organization. The Supervisor will be responsible for developing both short-term and long-range forecasts that accurately reflect manpower, material, and facility requirements for known and anticipated maintenance events. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all planning functions support maintenance events effectively. In this position, the Supervisor will provide direct supervision and oversight of the planning function, ensuring that detailed work-scope, manpower, and material requirements are developed for all planned maintenance events. It is essential that this information is communicated to the appropriate departments in a timely manner to facilitate smooth operations. The Supervisor will also be expected to demonstrate strong verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management, as well as to facilitate discussions and updates. The role demands proven planning and organizational skills to prioritize, assign, and coordinate the workload of the assigned area and employees within a multiple project setting. A working knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma and Lean Principles, is also necessary to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy aircraft maintenance, planning, and production control, along with a solid understanding of mechanical, structural, and avionics systems.
