Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, or related field preferred.
• Experience with safety and emergency procedure protocols and regulatory interfaces.
• Knowledge in physical security strategies, principles, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Proficiency with access control systems, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting tools.
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, email, scheduling software).
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and other pre-employment security clearances.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site security activities to ensure consistent coverage and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor shift schedules, guard post assignments, and ensure proper staffing levels.
• Oversee badge issuance, visitor logs, and access permissions for personnel and contractors.
• Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alerts or anomalies.
• Support the development and execution of emergency response plans and drills.
• Collaborate with site leadership during evacuations, lockdowns, or other critical events.
• Identify opportunities to enhance security operations, reduce risk, and improve team efficiency.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging threats.
• Ensure strict compliance with Aligned’s physical security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine audits and inspections to identify vulnerabilities and enforce corrective measures.
• Act as the primary point of contact for security incidents, emergencies, and escalations.
• Document and report incidents accurately and promptly, following established protocols.
• Liaise with third-party security vendors, contractors, and site management to ensure seamless operations.
• Coordinate access control for visitors, deliveries, and service providers.
• Lead, train, and mentor the security guard team to maintain high performance and professionalism.
• Conduct regular briefings, performance evaluations, and corrective actions when necessary.
