About The Position
The Carlisle Lab department is looking for a new Supervisor of Phlebotomy to oversee their team of phlebotomists and specimen processors. This leader would oversee a team of about 21+ employees, 2 outpatient draw sites, and the hospital. Good leadership skills, flexibility, and communication skills are essential in order to thrive in this role. Previous hospital experience is preferred. The Supervisor will also be responsible for providing phlebotomy support to their direct reports as needed. Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., possibility of covering call offs. The day-to-day leadership is provided to the clinical laboratory specimen procurement and client services team in support of the hospital's desire to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. Provides support to the client services team including the performance of staff duties to cover vacancies in the schedule as needed. Responsible to maintain a staff schedule to provide coverage in all areas of responsibility to meet patient care needs. Assists with the planning, development, and monitoring of quality assurance initiatives to support patient care and safety.
