Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Three (3) years of experience in a designated area of expertise - Inpatient or Outpatient.
• Valid State of California Pharmacy Technician license.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

Responsibilities

• Working supervisor responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department.
• Accountable for the supervision and evaluation of staff in accordance with staffing needs and established goals.
• Performs human resource tasks and trains staff on policies and procedures, standards and competencies.
• Ensures and enforces Technicians and Messengers adhere to policies and procedures to promote safe and timely medication availability.
• Extremely competent in all responsibilities of a staff pharmacy technician.
