About The Position

At Franciscan, our Pharmacy Resolution Center Supervisor is critical for providing pharmacy program solutions which shift medication-based tasks away from primary and/or specialty care office staff and providers enabling them more time for direct patient care. In this role you will manage the refill protocol team who are reviewing refill requests, answering patient refill voicemails, and pharmacists signing orders under protocol and medication prior authorization processing on behalf of enrolled offices. You may also advise healthcare team members on any pharmacy related questions including appropriate prescribing of medications, supplies and related processes. THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION. 4 DAYS ARE WORK FROM HOME. ONE DAY IS ONSITE AT FRANCISCAN EDUCATION AND SUPPORT SERVICES CENTER IN GREENWOOD, IN. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Utilize EPIC to access patient medication orders and profiles, process refill requests with documentation in the medical record, provide needed information, and resolve issues or concerns. Supervise direct reports and manages the performance of individuals through ongoing coaching, feedback, and development to motivate, engage and drive a high performing team. Establish goals and objectives for the pharmacy team and provision of pharmacy services and integrated Healthcare delivery. Develop and monitor implementation strategies and plans to achieve goals. Ensure all daily pharmacy operations, including medication ordering and distribution, pharmacy and medical record storage procedures, overall security and safety, and staff training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy Degree - Accredited School of Pharmacy with appropriate years of pharmacy experience.
  • 2 years Pharmacy Manager, Supervisor, or Director Required
  • 2 years Retail, Inpatient, or Specialty Pharmacy Required
  • Registered Pharmacist (RPh) - State Licensing Board Must be in good standing and kept current for Indiana

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate PharmD
  • 2 years Ambulatory or Clinical Pharmacy Preferred
