About The Position

The Payroll Supervisor role at AHS Investment Corp is based out of the corporate office in Morris Plains, NJ. The position is responsible for the supervision and coordination of payroll processing operations. Duties include leading weekly payroll preparation, processing, and distribution, managing payroll workload to meet operational requirements, and ensuring payroll is processed accurately, compliantly, and timely. The supervisor will direct the preparation of payroll-related documents, oversee compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements, and compile data from payroll sources for reporting. Additionally, the role involves reviewing, designing, and implementing payroll policies and procedures, maintaining current deduction interfaces, and ensuring all payroll information and records are maintained according to statutory requirements. The supervisor will also perform and support internal and external audits related to payroll, manage payroll production issues, and ensure accurate calculations of wages, tax withholding, and company deductions. Other responsibilities include overseeing physician draws, resolving errors, participating in year-end activities, coordinating with accounting for reporting and reconciliations, and contributing to special projects as requested.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholding, and company deductions.
  • Maintain and update requests on physician draws, including reporting.
  • Oversee all transactions processed to ensure compliance with policy, payroll procedures, and labor laws.
  • Resolve errors and respond to employee concerns and inquiries.
  • Participate and perform year-end activities to ensure timely and accurate generation of year-end W2 forms and reports.
  • Coordinate and advise accounting related to reporting and reconciliations.
  • Contribute to special projects as requested.
