Weekend availability is required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5 years or more experience in a hospital setting.
• 1 year or more of experience with patient transportation.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• BLS from American Heart Association.
• Current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to the patient transportation and resource coordinator staff including monitoring daily activity schedules and patient load.
• Model outstanding customer service best practices.
• Conduct inpatient and outpatient rounds with clinical leaders.
• Attend Medical Center meetings including patient satisfaction, safety, EOC, etc.
• Conduct daily huddles, communicate campus wide changes and initiatives to the team.
• Provide leadership, growth, and development to the team.
• Monitor patient transports, and medical equipment requests.
