The Supervisor, Patient Payment Solutions researches and provides oversight for assigned projects and department deliverables, including collaborating with various stakeholders, including various finance teams, healthcare providers, and patients to help ensure seamless and efficient payment processes. The Payment Solutions Supervisor will conduct research and surface issues to the manager when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study from an accredited college or university. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in similar field and proven experience in managing a team.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in field facing role; presenting, leading and collaborating with office management.
  • Proficiency working with Excel, AR Reporting, SQL, Macros, data mining.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and collaborate with Patient Payment Solutions team members & other key stakeholders - taking lead in escalated issues.
  • Collaborate, problem-solve and troubleshoot with office staff and billing teams to resolve discrepancies or escalated payment issues.
  • Communicate trends & help identify areas of opportunities for process inefficiencies, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ability to audit and perform detailed review patient accounts to determine historical activities made on account, with ability to resolve issues discovered.
  • Oversee Patient Payments help ticket desk and phone inquiries from field, and lead strategy to maintain acceptable SLAs.
  • Lead Patient Payments Posting, Reconciliation and SmartPay Teams in helping them to achieve their objectives in satisfactory resolution.
  • Lead office openings, suspensions and closures - setting up for Patient Payments activities.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
