About The Position

Could you be our next Supervisor of Patient Access Services at Ellis Preserve? Why work as a Supervisor, Patient Access Services with Main Line Health? Make an Impact! Your leadership makes all the difference! Bring your medical terminology, ICD-10 codes, and registration experience to Main Line Health. You will manage department staff and functions on a daily basis. Assuming a high level of responsibility for daily, weekly, and monthly activities of the department, you’ll orient staff, coordinate department in-services, topics and speakers based on educational needs, and coordinate department processes with other department supervisors. This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon your Full or Part Time status. Join the Team! Requirements

  • Knowledge of registration computer systems required.
  • Minimum of 1 year training of clerical staff preferred.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills required.
  • Strong customer service background and solid computer skills required.
  • Minimum 5 years healthcare experience required
  • Minimum 2 years independent decision-making in a healthcare organization required.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-9 coding required.
  • Minimum of high school degree or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year training of clerical staff preferred.
  • Associate degree preferred.
