Make a Difference The Patient Access Supervisor is responsible for managing day to day operations, identifying improvement opportunities, and developing employees. The Supervisor is responsible for making decisions and collaborate with other leaders to ensure successful daily patient access operations. The Supervisor monitors key quality and productivity metrics to ensure long term success in all areas of patient access operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED ", High School Diploma or GED required
  • One of the following is required Certifications/Licensures: NAHAM Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) NAHAM Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) within two (2) years from hire
  • 3+ years\: Minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare, medical office, customer service, or leadership position required
  • Must have knowledge of insurance requirements, including current verification and authorization procedures
  • Must lead by example with CHNw PRIIDE values
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have effective listening skills
  • Must have excellent computer skills
  • Must be committed, motivated and energetic
  • Must be willing to mentor and coach staff for success
  • Ability to be flexible
  • Ability to self-manage time appropriately, multi-task and prioritize on a day to day basis
  • Ability to resolve conflict
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
