The Supervisor, Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) is responsible for overseeing and mentoring a team of Oncology Nurse Navigators who manage the care of identified patients with cancer, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, to ensure access to high quality care throughout the continuum. The ONN Supervisor also provides training and education to the navigation department. The position requires a willingness to work flexible hours, which may include some evenings and the occasional weekend.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and three (3) years of clinical experience in oncology.
• OR Associate Degree in Nursing with five (5) years of experience in the field of patient navigation.

• Previous experience working with culturally diverse populations.
• Strong working knowledge of healthcare systems and community resources.
• Able to establish strong working relationships within a healthcare system.
• Previous experience in project management or case management.
• Masters of Science Degree in Nursing.
