GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Under the direction of the Director of Adult Services, or designee, performs administrative and professional tasks in the supervision and management of staff providing integrated care (Nurses, OT, PT and RD); case consultation and management for OBRA staff (LMSW’s and RD); provides clinical supervision of nursing staff; provides training and staff development for all assigned staff; Assists in the development of protocol and procedures; attends treatment planning meetings and makes recommendations for staff involvement and consumer care; performs related work as required.

  • Performs administrative and professional tasks in the supervision and management of staff providing integrated care (Nurses, OT, PT and RD)
  • Provides case consultation and management for OBRA staff (LMSW’s and RD)
  • Provides clinical supervision of nursing staff
  • Provides training and staff development for all assigned staff
  • Assists in the development of protocol and procedures
  • Attends treatment planning meetings and makes recommendations for staff involvement and consumer care
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing, licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Michigan, AND four (4) years combined nursing and mental health experience.
  • OR
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing, licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Michigan, AND five (5) years combined nursing and mental health experience.
  • Vision – Position requires the ability to visually assess details at both near and far distances, as well as to perceive depth and spatial relationships with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Hearing – Position requires the ability to receive and respond to verbal communication with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Position requires the ability to lift up to 35lbs on an occasional basis
  • Position requires the ability to regularly stand for extended periods of time
  • Position requires the ability to walk at a minimum of 35% up to a maximum of 65%
  • Position will require the ability to occasionally stoop, bend, or reach to perform work tasks with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Position must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, including the use of hands and fingers for handling, grasping, typing, writing, or operating equipment with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience in working with or supervising interdisciplinary teams that includes RN, OT, PT, RD, Psychology, Social Work, and Psychiatry.
  • Experience working with intellectually disabled population.
