Requirements

  • Five years experience as an environmental service coordinator, team leader or lead person in industrial/hotel or health care facility.
  • High School plus college course in Business Administration of Heal Care Management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates daily with all assigned floor Nurse Managers or supervisors in charge of Ancillary Areas to ensure cleanliness and quality of work performed by Environmental Services.
  • Provides direction in the application of environmental and infection-control standards and practices, CQI standards, and organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborates with the Director in managing the overall operation of the department by effectively directing, planning, and problem-solving, as evidenced by Press Ganey scores.
  • Assists the Director in providing rational explanations for decisions and actions to staff, medical staff, hospital administration, and patients.
