Data Center Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the work unit, and the supervision of ongoing staff at our Data Center facilities. This critical role is often a working manager who assigns, prioritizes, monitors, and maintains workflow while coaching, leading, and motivating staff. Responsible for delivering services assigned to the work unit, this role shares information across the team, to management, and across work units to accomplish tasks with an eye on continuous improvement. We are seeking a Data Center Operations Supervisor to function as a hands-on 'player-coach,' responsible for leading and developing the operations team. In this role, you will manage the daily workflow, set priorities, and mentor staff, including developing and implementing a team training program. This role makes key tactical decisions to support 24x7 operations, overseeing the reliable delivery and proper maintenance of all standard power and cooling services. You will also serve as a primary point of contact for operations, working to resolve tenant issues and maintain effective communication with vendors. In this position, you will be responsible for the data center's operational security, ensuring the team's adherence to all OIT, State, and Federal policies, while actively supporting the Data Center Operations Director on broader projects and initiatives. A wide salary range is posted for this position, and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and state seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. While all offers are compliant with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, there is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
