About The Position
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Supervisor of Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is responsible for assisting providers in delivering quality health care to customer-owners and their families and assisting the providers in the clinic in furnishing high quality health care. Supervisor of CMA is expected to handle assignments that are tied to Joint Commission, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), OSHA, Hazardous, Biohazardous, QA and QI compliance. Practice as an active member of the core clinical team with a level of professionalism that creates, develops and nurtures culturally-appropriate interactions. The Supervisor of CMA is responsible for the day-to-day performance of a group of CMAs or LPN employees including guidance and coordination of the work of CMA or LPN employees toward established goals and objectives. The team members connect with each other, customer-owners and the community. Flexibility and adaptability are a must in the SCF fast-paced and growing departments. This position has two (2) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments.
