Supervisor Nursing Observation Unit-Livingston Campus Walker, La OLOL Livingston Emergency Department Observation Unit is a newly built, 10-bed unit designed to support extended emergency care and allow appropriate patients to remain overnight for continued monitoring, treatment, and evaluation. The unit enhances patient flow, improves throughput, and provides a safe, efficient setting for observation-level care without the need for inpatient admission. The supervisor investigates new techniques and equipment, develops required reports, selects and assigns departmental staff members, encourages personnel participation in continuing education activities, strives to promote personal performance quality, and collaborates with physicians regarding patient care. Supervises day to day operations to include supplies, efficiency, quality, fiscal responsibility, and patient safety. The supervisor monitors patient care and scheduling for the cardiac and vascular lab and staffing. Responsible for regulatory compliance, policy and procedure and coordinating grievance responses. #CB
